Custom Designs, Image Quality & Color Expectations
Your made-to-order item is produced using the design and information submitted with your order.
Please review everything carefully before checkout. Contact us before ordering if you need help.
Customer-submitted designs
You are responsible for checking wording, spelling, names, dates, layout, quantities, dimensions, selected colors, and uploaded files.
Do not assume your order includes proofreading, image repair, or a separate approval proof unless we have specifically agreed to provide that service.
Customer-submitted errors do not qualify a made-to-order item for a return or exchange. If we reproduce the submitted design incorrectly, contact us through our order-problem process.
Image quality
The quality of your uploaded artwork affects the finished print.
A small or blurry image may look acceptable on a phone or computer but appear pixelated when printed at a larger size.
We regularly print bitmap artwork, including PNG and JPEG files. These can produce excellent results when their pixel dimensions are sufficient for the intended print size. Enlarging them beyond their available detail can cause pixelation. True vector artwork scales without pixelation, but an image embedded inside a PDF or SVG remains a bitmap.
A green image-checker result is technical guidance, not approval of visual sharpness or a print-quality guarantee. The checker uses pixel dimensions and the intended print size; it cannot establish whether the original image was sharp. PPI means image pixels per linear inch; DPI describes printer dots per linear inch. Changing resolution metadata does not add detail. Upscaling estimates additional pixels and may soften edges, but can pass resolution checks without restoring the original detail. Always inspect the final file closely and at its intended print size before ordering.
Avoid screenshots, compressed social-media images, and small images copied from websites. Follow the file requirements shown for your product and design tool.
We are not responsible for poor print results caused by insufficient resolution or problems already present in customer-submitted files.
Color expectations
Screens and printed materials display color differently. Screen settings, lighting, material color, transparency, and printing processes can affect the finished appearance.
Exact matches to a screen image, another supplier’s product, or a previous order are not guaranteed unless a specific matching service has been agreed to in writing.
If a particular color match is essential, contact us before ordering to discuss the available options.
Canva and other design tools
For Canva designs, follow our download instructions, export your file, and upload it to our website for printing. Please try the step-by-step instructions first; we are happy to help if you get stuck, although assistance may extend preparation time. Most Canva features needed to order are available free. You do not need Canva Pro to order: if a particular export step requires Pro, stop and send us a share link for help rather than substituting an unsuitable file.
Check the finished file’s size, resolution, layout, and background before uploading it. Refer to our design tutorials for additional guidance.
QR codes
Upload the original downloaded QR-code file. Avoid screenshots or alterations that distort the code or remove its necessary border.
Test the code before submitting your order and confirm that the destination is correct.
You are responsible for maintaining the linked destination and any associated third-party subscription or account. We cannot guarantee continued functionality of a third-party service after production.
Ask before ordering
Questions about artwork, colors, or file suitability should be resolved before checkout because made-to-order orders cannot ordinarily be changed once submitted.
