Will My Picture Print Sharp?
Check your file before you order. It takes one minute and it can save your whole order.
What is pixelation?
A picture is made of tiny dots. A small file has few dots. When we make it big, the dots turn into blocks. That is pixelation.

Why it matters
- Your sign is made from your file. If the file is blurry, the sign is blurry. We cannot fix it after it is made.
- Small on a phone does not mean small on a sign. A picture that looks fine on your screen can look blocky at 12 inches wide.
- It is cheaper to check now. One minute now beats a sign you do not want later.

Choose FileVector files can be made any size without going blurry. If it was made in a design program (Canva, Illustrator, Affinity, Inkscape), you are set. If it is a photo saved as a PDF, it can still be blurry. When in doubt, send it to us and we will check.

If our website shows a quality warning: STOP.
The warning is real. It means your file is too small for that product. Do not click past it. Do not order anyway.
Stop. Fix the file, or ask us for help. We would rather help you now than make you a sign you do not like.
How to fix a small file
1. Find the original
Look for the first version of the picture. The one from the designer, the camera, or the app you made it in. Do not use a screenshot or a picture sent in a text message. Those are small.
2. Made it in Canva?
Set the right size and download at the biggest quality. We wrote simple steps.
Canva steps3. Is it a logo, text, or a simple drawing?
Our vectorizer can turn it into a file that stays sharp at any size. It works well for logos and clean shapes. It does not work for photos.
Try the vectorizer4. Is it a photo?
Photos cannot be vectorized. Send us the biggest version you have. We can often improve a photo with our software, and we will tell you what is possible before you order.

This checker compares your image’s pixel dimensions with your intended print size. A green result is technical guidance, not a guarantee that the picture is sharp. Changing DPI/PPI metadata does not add detail; upscaling estimates extra pixels and can pass a resolution check without restoring the original detail. PPI means pixels per linear inch; DPI refers to printer dots per linear inch. PNG and JPEG images can print well when they contain enough detail for the chosen size. Inspect the close-up preview and final file at the intended print size. Artwork is printed as submitted.
