Refund policy

1. No Returns or Exchanges: At 1801&Co., all our products are custom-made and tailored to each individual order. Due to the unique and personalized nature of our items, we maintain a strict policy of no returns or exchanges for any reason. This ensures the integrity and exclusivity of our custom products.
2. Damaged Items and Carrier Mishandling: We pride ourselves on the quality and craftsmanship of our products. However, in the rare instance that an item arrives damaged due to carrier mishandling, 1801&Co. will facilitate an insurance claim with the carrier. The client is required to provide photographs of packaging material and damage to the item sufficient to submit to the carrier. In such cases, we will replace the damaged item at no additional cost to the customer. Please report any such incidents within 14 days of receiving the item, along with photographic evidence of the damage, to initiate the replacement process. In the event the client is unable to provide photographs of damage to the item and packaging materials, the customer will be responsible for filing the claim with the shipping carrier.
3. Forced Returns: 1801&Co. does not accept forced returns. Any items sent back to us without explicit approval from our team will not be eligible for a refund or exchange, and the customer will not be entitled to any compensation.
4. Exceptional Circumstances: While our policy is firm on not accepting returns or exchanges, we recognize that exceptional circumstances may arise. In such rare cases where an exception is granted at the sole discretion of 1801&Co, the buyer will be responsible for any return shipping fees. Additionally, a 20% restocking fee will be applied. This fee covers the cost of processing the return and restocking the custom-made item.

Shipping policy
